Caching in Manchester/Tameside

Postby thetrekbuddies » Mon Dec 17, 2012 10:20 am

Hi I have just moved to East Manchester / Droylsden and would like to make friends/meet up with local caching teams, is there any planned meets locally soon?

Regards

Lee

If you can wait til March [event]Sidetracked Stalybridge - Early Evening Special

Keep an eye on here or over on facebook on this group. Northwest Cachers FB Group for people hitting the hills.

Thursday night there is an event over at St Helen's [event]Cattawell's Christmas Cracker

If you are an early morning person on the 5th Jan there is a walk starting at 5am [event]Sunrise at Lad Law

Thank you for the replies :-) I shall try and attend the Mobberley event.

Try and make some new caching friends locally

and also thank you for the other suggestions, added to watchlist :-)

As for the NW cachers Facebook page, I requested to become a member a while ago, and still waiting for admin to confirm me :-(

Many Thanks, Lee

I found my first cache on Sunday after finally getting a phone that can run a caching app for Xmas - 1st one was Walkerwood Reservoir Rifle Range which was the 1st of a planned 4 but our walk was marred by Muggles virtually on top of two of the caches and steadfastly resfusing to move on. Harrumph!
