Postby FFloss » Mon Dec 31, 2012 10:02 am

I added a new continent (and a new country) to the places I have cached. :D

I also bagged another 12 Munros (250 down, 33 to go) :D

What did you achieve in 2012?

I got one new country (France).
I got six new counties. The North of England is very nearly coloured in. There is just a hole that is the same shape as County Durham.
I got fewer caches than in any other year so far. Just 154. I don't necessarily regard this as an achievement but its interesting.
I got 2 of my photographs in the 2013 Mega Calendar.
I held an event at which only 2 other people turned up to.
The best cache of the year had to be GCG99A Hill145
I only placed one physical cache. Again I don't necessarily regard this as an achievement.
and finally the best acheivement of all :)
I only looked for caches in interesting places.

- 3 new countries -France, Spain and Austria, but 4 if we can include Scotland ;)
- new furthest from home, furthest north, south and west (but then 2012 was our first full year of caching!)
- finding caches on both 29th Feb and 12.12.12
- completing the Sandstone Trail - first walk of any distance since the kids arrived on the scene 14 years ago
- getting a new Garmin :D

The only real goal I had for 2012 was the consecutive caching :D . Ticked that one off the list with a slightly deluxe three hundred and sixty six days of caching for the full calendar year :D , I started early (because I could  ) and finished late to prove the point :ugeek: , with a total of three hundred and eighty seven consecutive days :D (I had apathy for the day   so I checked with some geeks ;) to ensure there was no significance to the number 8-) ; so if there is it's their fault    ).

Cheers

Schnuz.

Hahaarrgghh yeah goin' to PIRATEMANIA VI 2013? The only MEGA PIRATE event in the UK to attend? More details to follow as it hasn't been arranged yet [:D].
Hahaarrgghh, be seein' yah thar yah filthy landlubbers!
