Goals for 2013

Postby FFloss » Mon Dec 31, 2012 10:25 am

I didn't set myself any caching goals last year, and let the weather put me off achieving very much. :( So this year I am going to, and we'll see what difference it makes.

I'm not keen on the "find a cache every day" goals because of time constraints on some days I think I would end up with too many drive bys. So I need to find other types of goal, and these are the ones I am going for:

1. Complete my grid. I am missing D1/T5, D3.5/T5, D4.5/T2,2.5,3, D5/T1,T3.5 - I'm going to have to work on those high D caches. :o

2. a) Complete the alphabet in any cache type - I am missing X and quite a few numbers.
b) Complete the alphabet in puzzle caches (quite a few missing)
c) Make a good attempt at the alphabet in Multis (I haven't checked to see how feasible completing it would be)

3. I've had some cache ideas floating around for a while, so my final goal is to set some caches, including at least 1 Multi and 3 Puzzles. I know this doesn't sound very much, but there are so many caches in my local area already I don't want to be setting more just for the sake of it!

So what are your goals for 2013?

To try and find more traditional and earthcaches than I did last year with perhaps the occasional multi thrown in for good measure - also to carry on ignoring puzzle ones ie clicking on the button on the cache page so they go away ;)

Perhaps if it stops raining I might even go out today - but I don't think it's going to stop so I won't!
I ferret proofed my house... but they still keep getting in

My goal for 2013 is to carry on caching but enjoy it rather than doing it as a necessity, id like to do a couple more higher altitude caches as well

I think that is my goal too, partly enforced by time limits on my trips out, and partly because it's more fun just to go out and enjoy the walk!

pass 5000, well that should really have happened this week but for the damage to the car on chritmas eve.

complete the pennine way, and maybe start the scottish national trail.

after that not sure.

continue caching in the high ground of the pennines and ignoring the urban caches ;)

All I have is to get my maintenance backlog down. I always say this but I have made real inroads into it recently.
Also I would quite like to find a WhereIGo.
Also to fill in my dates found grid. Just 13 days to go.
Oh and maybe find a cache in County Durham to plug that hole in the northern half of my map!

There's that nice virtual on the outskirts of Darlington.
