Just wondering why you want to breed from her... I have a bee in my bonnet about dog breeding when there are so many dogs in rescues - and they's not all X breeds either. Loads of pedigrees finding their way into rescue as well.

Excellent reason... I've spent over 16 years getting stressed over the number of unwanted ferrets that I've not been able to help because I just haven't the room or cash available to take them in.

thanks for that reply, just to put your mind at ease i used to do loads of volutary work for animals charities i used to do alot of fostering and am still involved in a small way with neutering feral cat colonies, taking in injured etc, I also interrigate the prospective puppy homes, dont sell to kids and have turned people away at the door because i dont think they are fit, my puppies are wormed, injected(depends on age)and sent out with full vetenary instructions on inoculation, worming fleeing, feeding and also a bed that smells of mum and bag of the food they are on, a waterproof coat to stave away the cold and wet on their first walk (helps protect their kidneys and back)and toys to show the new owners what they like. They also have my number my face book account and my email and are told to phone at any time of day if they need. I then check up on them after a week, a month and then a year. If you go on to my face book account and send a fiends request( ill send you my email address) you can see the parents, puppies and grown up puppies that i am still in contact with. My reason fo beeding sweep was accidental (they thawted every move we made to get together) but we wouldnt have missed it for the world my reason for breeding dusty is that she is a shy girl which her mum used to be until she bred which made her. We are hoping that it will make Dusty and she wont be such a shy apron stings girl modicodled by her family environment.

Awwwww so cuddly! I can almost smell 'em :) I remember when I was a lass we had a lovely Yorkshire terrier, and she had two lots of puppies .... they were lovely. I remember my Dad chopping their tails .... so glad that's not done anymore, always did seem a peculiar thing to do. Good luck with finding a stud dog Emma :)
